Briefly: Daniels (6-foot-2, 200 pounds) threw for 3,042 yards and 33 touchdowns as a freshman and has been compared to Matt Barkley, who started four seasons at Mater Dei. … This will be Rollinson's 28th season as head coach for the Monarchs. … Mater Dei started 10 sophomores and a freshman last season.
