Softball Recap: Burton Adventist Academy Angels vs. Joshua Christian Knights
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Nazarene Christian Academy, Burton Adventist Academy was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They never let the Joshua Christian Knights onto the board and left with a 15-0 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Burton Adventist Academy considering their two-run performance the matchup before.
Giselle Herman was a standout: she went 2-for-2 with a home run, three runs, and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Hailey Martinsen, who scored two runs and stole five bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
On Joshua Christian's side, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Savannah Ogdie, who went 1-for-1 with a stolen base.
The victory got Burton Adventist Academy back to even at 1-1.
