Mills Terry leads a balanced attack to beat Jackson Christian

Recap: University School of Jackson Bruins vs. Jackson Christian Eagles

Even though the University School of Jackson Bruins have not done well against the Jackson Christian Eagles recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. University School of Jackson strolled past Jackson Christian with points to spare, taking the game 47-31. The win was nothing new for University School of Jackson as they're now sitting on three straight.

University School of Jackson got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Mills Terry out in front who scored 14 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Wallace Driver, who scored ten points.

University School of Jackson's win bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Jackson Christian, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 11-6.

University School of Jackson will take on Natchez Trace Youth Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Natchez Trace Youth Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings (they are ranked 369th, while University School of Jackson is ranked 81st). As for Jackson Christian, they will head out on the road to take on Trinity Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Trinity Christian Academy is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 67.2 points per game.
