The Frederick Cadets will square off against the Governor Thomas Johnson Patriots at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Frederick is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 33 points two weeks ago, they were much more limited against Oakdale on Friday. They lost 32-6 to Oakdale. The Cadets haven't had much luck with Oakdale recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Despite their loss, Frederick saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Miles Robinson, who threw for 204 yards and one touchdown while completing 85% of his passes, was perhaps the best of all. A healthy portion of Robinson's aerial production (92 yards to be exact) went to Paul Huff.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 44 points the game before, Governor Thomas Johnson was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They were outmatched by Linganore and fell 62-6. The contest marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Governor Thomas Johnson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Frederick, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
