Softball Recap: Valley Vikings vs. Sunrise Mountain Miners
Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat. They lost 20-5 to the Sunrise Mountain Miners. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Miners this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 27-14 on April 9th.
Nataly Bermudez made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-20. As for Sunrise Mountain, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-17.
As of now, neither Valley nor the Miners have any future games scheduled.
