Preview: St. Joseph Cadets vs. Amistad Wolves
The St. Joseph Cadets will be playing at home against the Amistad Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Amistad took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on St. Joseph, who comes in off a win.
Even though Norwalk scored an imposing 64 points on Tuesday, St. Joseph still came out on top. St. Joseph took their contest against Norwalk 73-64. 73 seems to be a good number for St. Joseph as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
It was another big night for Tj Wright, who scored 25 points along with five assists and three steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of St. Joseph's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sean Christy, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and five blocks.
Meanwhile, Amistad came up short against Tolland on Wednesday and fell 56-48.
St. Joseph has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Amistad, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-8.
