Volleyball Recap: James F. Byrnes Comes Up Short

James F. Byrnes and Blythewood squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but James F. Byrnes had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Bengals. The Rebels were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bengals apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2022.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-20, 25-12.

Leading Blythewood to victory were Grace Campbell and Mya Johnson. Campbell had nine digs and two aces, while Johnson had nine digs. That's the most digs Campbell has posted since back in September.

James F. Byrnes' loss dropped their record down to 14-19. As for Blythewood, they pushed their record up to 16-15 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

James F. Byrnes does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Blythewood has already played their next contest (against Boiling Springs), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
