Soccer Recap: Oregon's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Oregon lost against Sterling back in August of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hawks lost 4-1 to the Golden Warriors. The loss put an end to Oregon's undefeated start to the season.

Their goal came courtesy of Steven Guardado, who's now up to four this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Oregon fell to 2-1.

Looking ahead, Oregon will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Rockford Christian at 4:30 p.m. The contest will give Oregon their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Sterling, they will take on Princeton in a tournament on Saturday. Sterling are facing Princeton at the right time seeing as Princeton are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
