Baseball Recap: Mohawk Takes a Loss

Mohawk's last matchup with Culver could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Friday. The Indians came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 27-5. The loss continues a trend for the Indians in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost four in a row.

Mohawk saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack Andrews, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one double. That double marked the first that Andrews has hit this season.

Mohawk's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Culver, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Bulldogs beat Mohawk by a score of 16-2 later that day.
