Basketball Recap: Cannelton Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Kobe Aud and Gage Garrett + How To Watch

Cannelton lost against Perry Central back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs took a 71-53 bruising from the Commodores. The Bulldogs were down 58-29 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Despite the defeat, Cannelton had strong showings from Gage Garrett, who posted 18 points along with seven assists and three steals, and Kobe Aud, who went 8-for-16 to rack up 21 points.

Gage Clark had a dynamite game For Perry Central., shooting 63% from the field en route to 13 points in addition to six assists and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Hubert, who went 5-for-7 on his way to 12 points.

Cannelton now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Perry Central, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cannelton will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Seven Oaks Classical at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th. As for Perry Central, they will challenge Wood Memorial at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
