Millington managed to slip by Caro the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Cardinals lost 9-2 to the Tigers on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Cardinals couldn't push the score so high this time.

Millington saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Truk Terbush, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Terbush has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Millington's loss dropped their record down to 15-7-1. As for Caro, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-9-1.

While Millington had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
