Emery and Grand County are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. Emery will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Grand County at 4:00 p.m. Emery's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for nine straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Friday just wasn't the day for Emery's offense. They came up short against Carbon on Friday, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, Emery can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Utah soccer rankings (they are ranked 102nd, while Carbon are ranked 24th).

Meanwhile, Grand County also failed to score in their most recent game. They fell just short of South Sevier by a score of 1-0 on Thursday.

Grand County's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 6-2. As for Emery, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.

Emery was able to grind out a solid win over Grand County when the teams last played back in April of 2023, winning 2-0. Does Emery have another victory up their sleeve, or will Grand County turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
