Volleyball Recap: Hardee Comes Up Short

After flying high against Bayshore on Tuesday, Hardee came back down to earth. The Wildcats fell 3-1 to the Frostproof Bulldogs on Thursday. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Hardee was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Frostproof work for it, especially in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 13-25, 25-18, 26-24.

Hardee's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Frostproof, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Hardee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Mulberry on the 14th. As for Frostproof, they will host Fort Meade at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
