Baseball Recap: Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn Comes Up Short

Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 13-1 to the South O'Brien Wolverines. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-1 on June 2nd.

Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for South O'Brien, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-15.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Wolverines beat Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn by a score of 16-0 later that day.
