Basketball Recap: Lamoni Drops Highest Score of Season Against Diagonal

Lamoni posted their biggest victory since February 5th on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 50-30 margin over the Diagonal Maroons. The Demons' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Lamoni's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Diagonal, their loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lamoni will host Twin Cedars at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Diagonal, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Orient-Macksburg at 6:00 p.m. on December 17th.
