Volleyball Recap: Triumph Charter Takes a Loss

Triumph Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sylmar Spartans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Jaguars of the 1-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2022.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-5.

Triumph Charter's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Sylmar, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 20-12.

Triumph Charter's road trip will continue as they head out to face Eagle Rock at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Sylmar, they have the luxury of staying home for another game and will welcome Marquez at 9:40 a.m. on Saturday.
