Volleyball Recap: Canutillo Comes Up Short

Canutillo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Tascosa Rebels.

Yahaira Granados paced Canutillo's offense, picking up four kills. Granados got some help from Sophia Ontiveros and her seven assists. Bobbie Martin controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Canutillo's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Tascosa, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Canutillo has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Joshua on the 14th. As for Tascosa, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Mansfield on the 14th.
