Basketball Game Preview: Woodstock North Thunder vs. Harvard Hornets

Woodstock North is on a six-game streak of home losses, Harvard a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Saturday. Having just played yesterday, the Woodstock North Thunder will get right back to it and host the Harvard Hornets at 12:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Woodstock North lost 67-45 to Johnsburg on Friday. While the Thunder didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Skyhawks 19-15 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 68-40, which was the final score in Harvard's tilt against Sandwich on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 701st, while the Indians are ranked 314th).

Harvard's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Woodstock North, their loss dropped their record down to 3-19.

Everything went Woodstock North's way against Harvard in their previous matchup back in January, as Woodstock North made off with a 54-34 victory. Does Woodstock North have another victory up their sleeve, or will Harvard turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
