Volleyball Recap: Birch Run Comes Up Short

If Birch Run was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of West Bloomfield on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers fell 3-1 to the Edwardsburg Eddies on Saturday.

Birch Run's defeat dropped their record down to 19-8-2. As for Edwardsburg, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-8.

Birch Run and Edwardsburg should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. The Panthers (ranked 70th) will meet Chesaning (ranked 379th) at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Edwardsburg will take on Lakeshore at 6:30 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (29 vs. 167).
