Volleyball Recap: Miller Grove Beats Carver for Their Third Straight Victory

Miller Grove had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came out on top against the Carver Panthers by a score of 2-0. The Wolverines have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Miller Grove took both sets by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-14.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Miller Grove to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jordan Gray, who had five aces. Gray is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Miller Grove's victory bumped their record up to 9-1.

Coming up, Miller Grove will face off against Tournament Opponent at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Carver, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Kendrick at 6:00 p.m. on the 26th.
