Valley Christian waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Odyssey Institute Minotaur by a score of 2-0. The Trojans were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Minotaur, so the Trojans were just returning the favor.

Travis Christy was the offensive standout of the game as he had ten digs and one assist.

Valley Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Odyssey Institute only served one ace.

Valley Christian's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Odyssey Institute, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.

Valley Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Dobson on the 11th. As for Odyssey Institute, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Crismon on the 11th.
