Highland entered their tilt with Shadow Ridge on Wednesday with eight consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with nine. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Stallions. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in March.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-14, 25-19.

Rhett Yetter paced Highland's offense, picking up 19 kills. Yetter got some help from Tony Taylor and his 29 assists. Yetter was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Highland's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 28-9-1. As for Shadow Ridge, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-24 record this season.

Highland will challenge Gilbert at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Hawks are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Shadow Ridge, they will take on Millennium at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
