Softball Recap: Monte Vista Christian Wins Going Away Against American

On Saturday, the Monte Vista Christian Mustangs got the win against the American Eagles by a conclusive 15-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Harper Whitby made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Whitby was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three RBI.

In other batting news, Kayla Fullalove-Silveira was a standout: she scored four runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in runs. Samantha Bertoldi was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI.
