There's no place like home for Lansing, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Ottawa Cyclones on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Cyclones: they've now won nine in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Lansing took both sets by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-8.

Lansing's win bumped their record up to 27-8. As for Ottawa, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-21.

Coincidentally, Lansing and Ottawa will both be playing Blue Valley Southwest the next time they take the court. The Cyclones will host the Timberwolves at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Lions will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
