Kenwood wins going away against West Creek

Recap: Kenwood Knights vs. West Creek Coyote

The Kenwood Knights scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They came out on top against West Creek by a score of 47-35. That 47-35 margin sets a new team best for Kenwood this season.

It was another big night for Yazmine Pearson, who scored 20 points. Those 20 points set a new season-high mark for her. Sy?nya Seay was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.

Kenwood's win ended a 19-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-11. As for West Creek, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.

Kenwood's road trip will continue as they head out to face Northwest at 6:00 p.m. on January 12th. Hopefully Northwest focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 last Wednesday. As for West Creek, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Henry County at 6:00 p.m. Henry County presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than West Creek in Tennessee (Henry County is ranked 134th, while West Creek is ranked 369th).
