Basketball Game Preview: Oceanside Collegiate Academy Landsharks vs. James Madison Warhawks

The Oceanside Collegiate Academy Landsharks will be taking part in a tournament against the James Madison Warhawks at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a five-game winning streak alive.

Oceanside Collegiate Academy saw some tournament action on Saturday. They strolled past Socastee with points to spare, taking the game 55-36. Given the Landsharks' advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked second, while the Braves are ranked 46th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, James Madison posted their biggest victory since January 4th on Friday. They blew past Independence 62-39.

James Madison pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points per game. As for Oceanside Collegiate Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 9-1.
