Weatherford is 0-10 against North Crowley since February of 2016 but things could change on Friday. The Weatherford Kangaroos will look to defend their home court against the North Crowley Panthers at 8:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Weatherford took a loss when they played away from home last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They put the hurt on Mansfield Legacy with a sharp 59-38 victory. The Kangaroos have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, North Crowley faced Lake Ridge in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. North Crowley took a 73-66 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lake Ridge. The Panthers' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

North Crowley's defeat ended an 11-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 24-5. As for Weatherford, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which somehow still isn't as good as their 24-6 record this season.
