Fillmore Central came tearing into  Tuesday's  match with nine straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with  a   50-39  victory over the Gothenburg Swedes. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered  a  61-57  defeat the last time these two teams met.
 Fillmore Central's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Jarin Tweedy led the charge by  to rack up 13  points in addition to seven  boards and four  steals. Tweedy is also on a roll when it comes to  field goal percentage, as he's  posted one of at least 45% in the last four games he's  played.  Daniel Stoner was another key player,  dropping  a double-double with 15 points and 11  rebounds.
Fillmore Central pushed their record up to 20-4 with the  win, which was their fifth straight  at home. As for Gothenburg, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record  this season.
 A feisty cat fight will be fought as  the Panthers  take on  the Cardinals at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Fillmore Central is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60  points per game  this season. Gothenburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
