Soccer Game Preview: Hoquiam vs. Elma

Hoquiam is 1-9 against Elma since April of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Grizzlies will head out on the road to challenge the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Hoquiam has given up an average of 3.2 goals per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Hoquiam came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Montesano, falling 7-3.

Meanwhile, Elma's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Rochester by a score of 1-0.

Elma's loss dropped their record down to 6-4-1. As for Hoquiam, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7-2.

Hoquiam might still be hurting after the 5-2 loss they got from Elma when the teams last played back in March. Can the Grizzlies avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
