It took overtime, but the state's top-ranked team Dutch Fork beat Dorman 34-31 to win its fourth-straight state title. Ty Olenchuk's 10-yard touchdown pass to to Jalin Hyatt was the game winner in OT and lifted Dutch Fork to its 40th straight game without a loss. Dorman (14-1) finishes as No. 2 overall in the state.

Chapman finished as the state's third-ranked team. The Panthers wrapped up a 15-0 season with a 44-14 win over Dillon in the SCHSL Class AAA state championship. Chapman scored 262 points during its five postseason games while allowing 62.
