Basketball Recap: Bogue Chitto Comes Up Short

Bogue Chitto and Pelahatchie squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Bogue Chitto had to settle for second. They took a 60-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pelahatchie Chiefs. The Bobcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Chiefs from their previous meeting back in February of 2018.

This is the second loss in a row for Bogue Chitto and nudges their season record down to 13-11. As for Pelahatchie, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Bogue Chitto does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pelahatchie, they will take on Heidelberg at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Heidelberg will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Pelahatchie surely won't give up without a fight.
