Basketball Game Preview: Arrowhead Warhawks vs. Notre Dame Academy Tritons

The Arrowhead Warhawks will head out to face off against the Notre Dame Academy Tritons at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Arrowhead knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matches -- so hopefully Notre Dame Academy likes a good challenge.

Last Thursday, Arrowhead strolled past Mukwonago with points to spare, taking the game 72-54. The Warhawks haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Natalie Kussow was her usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double with 28 points and nine boards. Her evening made it six games in a row in which she has scored at least 22 points. Another player making a difference was Sidney Zehner, who posted nine points along with six rebounds and five assists.

Meanwhile, Notre Dame Academy came up short against Bay Port on Tuesday and fell 59-52.

Arrowhead's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.7 points over those games. As for Notre Dame Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-6.
