Basketball Recap: Temple Baptist's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Temple Baptist lost against Veritas Christian Academy back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Temple Baptist Eagles lost 62-39 to the Veritas Christian Academy Warriors. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-17.

Temple Baptist's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 8-3. As for Veritas Christian Academy, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 13-2.

Temple Baptist will host Haywood Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Veritas Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Gospel Light Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 31st.
