Volleyball Recap: Woodland Dragons vs. Narraguagus Knights
Woodland faced Narraguagus in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Dragons came up short against the Knights, falling 3-0. That makes it the first time this season the Dragons have let down their home crowd.
Woodland took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-12, 25-23.
Their offense was headlined by Baylee Fields and Kaylin Hamilton, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Jordyn Phelps and her 15 assists. Hamilton was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.
