Volleyball Recap: Hampton Takes a Loss

The Hampton Hornets came up short against the Douglas County Tigers on Tuesday and fell 2-0.

Hampton dropped their record down to 1-7 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Douglas County, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season.

Hampton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Lithia Springs on the 26th. As for Douglas County, they will be playing at home against Langston Hughes at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
