Football Recap: Florence Takes a Loss

Florence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost to the Mendenhall Tigers on the road by a 28-9 margin. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Florence's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Mendenhall, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Florence didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 28-2 victory against Jim Hill on the 25th. As for Mendenhall, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 27-26 defeat against Callaway on the 25th.
