Central Dauphin East extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 17 on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 0-14 in the process. They lost 12-6 to the Palmyra Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-4 on April 8th.

Gabriela Paul made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. Another player making a difference was Isabelle Zeppuhar, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

As for Palmyra, the victory snapped their losing streak at eight games and leaves them with a 3-15 record. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for their hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.
