Basketball Recap: North Union Drops Season-High Score on West Hancock

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Union). They walked away with a 67-54 win over the West Hancock Eagles on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Eagles back in December of 2024, they had to take a 79-59 loss.

North Union's victory bumped their record up to 6-10-1. As for West Hancock, their defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-15.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Union has already played their next game (against Belmond-Klemme), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. West Hancock will take on Northwood-Kensett at 7:45 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Northwood-Kensett's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
