Football Game Preview: Clarkston Wolves vs. Lake Orion Dragons + How To Watch

The Clarkston Wolves will face off against the Lake Orion Dragons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Clarkston has three straight victories, Lake Orion has seven straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Clarkston is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Michigan's top teams: Adams, who was ranked 13th at the time (Clarkston was ranked seventh). The Wolves took down the Highlanders 21-7 on Friday. The score was all tied up 7-7 at the break, but the Wolves were the (much) better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Lake Orion scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 41-34 to Oxford. Dragons fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Wildcats since Friday.

Clarkston will have to contain Ryan Rocheleau as he made an impact in Lake Orion's last game. He picked up 131 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Clarkston's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Lake Orion, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Clarkston strolled past Lake Orion when the teams last played back in November of 2024 by a score of 34-16. Will the Wolves repeat their success, or do the Dragons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
