Basketball Game Preview: Glasgow Scotties vs. Monroe County Falcons

The Glasgow Scotties will square off against the Monroe County Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Saturday, Glasgow was beaten by Warren Central 86-50. While losing is never fun, the Scotties can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 198th, while the Dragons are ranked ninth).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Monroe County). They breezed past Red Boiling Springs to the tune of 77-32 on Monday. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-17.

Glasgow has been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record this season. As for Monroe County, their victory bumped their record up to 12-14.
