Baseball Game Preview: Muskogee Roughers vs. Union Redhawks

Muskogee is 1-9 against Union since April of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Roughers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Redhawks at 5:00 p.m. Muskogee has given up an average of 8.2 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Last Saturday, Muskogee came up short against Durant and fell 12-9.

Rock Gilliam was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Union suffered their biggest defeat since March 27th on Saturday. They came up short against Yukon, falling 9-1. The Redhawks haven't had much luck with the Millers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Union's loss dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Muskogee, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-13.

Muskogee suffered a grim 12-4 defeat to Union in their previous matchup back in April of 2023. Can the Roughers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
