Risco waltzed into their contest on Thursday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Hayti Indians. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Tuesday.

Leighton Calvert was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 12 digs. That's the most digs she has posted over her last six matches.

Risco was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. They are 11-2 when they serve at least ten aces.

Risco's win bumped their record up to 13-6-1. As for Hayti, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Risco wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 1-1 tie against Campbell on the 25th. As for Hayti, they will be playing at home against South Pemiscot at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
