Baseball Recap: Crescent Comes Up Short

The Crescent Tigers lost 14-8 to the Whitley County Colonels on Thursday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Crescent's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Whitley County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Looking ahead, Crescent will host Belton-Honea Path at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Whitley County, they will challenge Middle Tennessee Christian at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Colonels 1.9, the Cougars 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
