Basketball Game Preview: Sleepy Eye Indians vs. St. Mary's Knights

Sleepy Eye is 1-9 against St. Mary since February of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Sleepy Eye Indians will be playing at home against the St. Mary's Knights at 6:00 p.m.

Last Tuesday, Sleepy Eye had to suffer through a 91-52 loss at the hands of Springfield. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 271st, while the Tigers are ranked 51st).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for St. Mary's, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They claimed a resounding 84-33 victory over Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart.

Sleepy Eye's loss dropped their record down to 11-14. As for St. Mary's, their win bumped their record up to 12-13.
