Basketball Recap: Father Capodanno Takes a Loss

Father Capodanno played a tough matchup on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Fayetteville O Outliers and fell 63-21. The Grunts were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-13.

Fayetteville O was led to victory by Anthony Harris and Gage McGirt. Harris went 6-for-14 en route to 14 points in addition to five assists and four steals, while McGirt almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds. McGirt is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last five games he's played. Samuel Williams was another key player, shooting 42% from the field to rack up 11 points.

Father Capodanno's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Fayetteville O, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
