Softball Recap: Firelands Comes Up Short

Firelands and Perry squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Firelands had to settle for second. They came up short against the Pirates, falling 14-0. Having soared to a lofty 19 runs in the game before, the Falcons' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Firelands has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Perry, their win bumped their record up to 22-5.

As of now, neither Firelands nor the Pirates have any future games scheduled.
