Basketball Recap: Lisbon Takes a Loss

Lisbon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost to the Hankinson Pirates on the road by a 52-37 margin. The Broncos were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pirates apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2021.

Lisbon's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Hankinson, the win snapped their losing streak at ten games and leaves them with a 2-10 record.

Lisbon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 62-22 loss against Wahpeton on the 3rd. Hankinson has also already played their next contest, a 49-48 victory against Ellendale on the 3rd.
