Volleyball Recap: Tonopah Gets the Win

Tonopah's tournament run continued when they took on Baker on Friday. The Muckers walked away with a 2-0 win over the Braves.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Tonopah took both sets by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-15.

Tonopah's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Baker, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-6.

Looking ahead, Tonopah will head out to challenge Mineral County at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Baker, they have already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Indian Springs on the 29th.
