Volleyball Recap: Pierce County Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pierce County can now relate to. They came up short against the Franklin County Lions on Saturday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on Saturday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-21, 25-17.

Pierce County's loss dropped their record down to 19-23. As for Franklin County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 26-14 record this season.

Pierce County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Franklin County, they have already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Sonoraville on the 21st.
