After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pike County Central, Grundy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took their match with ease, bagging a 76-38 victory over the Hurley Rebels. The Golden Wave have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 20 points or more this season.

Grundy pushed their record up to 14-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27.2 points. As for Hurley, their loss dropped their record down to 7-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grundy will welcome Council at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hurley, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Wise County Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
